A Taste of Home
Ellie's Deli was taken over by Chef Mark almost 15 years ago from Ellie herself. The building was originally located in Jonathan Dickinson Park way back when it was the Army Radio Station. Various homes were relocated from the park and placed around Stuart, they have remained part of the hometown charm that we know and love about Stuart. Chef Mark has been cooking for over 25 years in various states and learned the ropes through his experiences and now is praised as one of the best in Martin County!
We are not just a deli but a full catering service as well. We have catered thousands of events for some familiar names including Boys & Girls Club, Brianna Cooper's Heavenly Smiles Foundation, City of Stuart, Kai Kai Farms, Molly's House, Project Lift, Rockin' H Ranch, Sip Tequila, The Flagler Center, and many more! Chef Mark was a winner of the Chopped competition at ArtsFest. Ellie's Deli has also won "Best Soup of Martin County" three years in a row at Taste of Martin County. You can see him on the wall mural at the Gilt Complex featuring all local artists of Martin County, because making great food is an art form.
Two years ago, Ellie's Deli expanded and opened a second location called Ellie's Dockside located in the Sailfish Marina right on the water. We are constantly striving to be the best deli and catering in Stuart.

I recently used Ellie's Downtown Deli and Catering to cater a luncheon following a memorial mass for my parents. The overall process was incredibly smooth (Taylor and Chef Mark did a great job explaining my options and putting together a quote) and the food provided on the day of was exceptional. I was able to include the assistance of a server, who covered setup, cleanup and helped during the luncheon and it allowed us to enjoy the event, rather than focus on anything else. I received many compliments on the food and was happy to reap the benefit of also enjoying the leftovers the next day. I highly recommend considering Ellie's for your next event. Big or small, they put thought into your consultation, are top notch at responding and communicating leading up to the event and deliver 10/10 on what they commit to on the day of. Do yourself a favor and take it off of your "plate" and put it into theirs. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent lunch spot. Food is always fresh, tasty, and makes you feel good. Owner and staff are friendly, feels like you are having a meal in their home. ♥️
I've have ordered for years and I haven't found anything that wasn't delicious from here. It will always be a go-to place to order.
